Fun with MP3s

I have an iPod. I love it dearly. I've even swapped mp3s with friends. KaZaa? Not anymore, thank you, the hint of a threat of a lawsuit is more than that's worth.

Are mp3s theivery? Is file sharing theivery? Depends on how you read copyright law, and (like many many other things in the US) how much money you have to spend on lawyers. The Wall Street Journal recently published an editorial from Lee Gomez where Gomez thinks the RIAA is doing the right thing. I heartily disagree. Turns out that a favorite author also disagrees.
