JavaOne
I'm going out to JavaOne this year. Despite having been at Sun in the mid-90s when Java was launched, and having done lots of work in the java world since then, I've never been to javaone before.
Anyone else going who's reading this?

I'm going. It's my first time too.
Also a Mac user.
I'm planning on going. And I'm revving up with some java-hacking on a robot:
JavaOne will be featuring a commercial toy robot with a programmable Java/Linux brain. I just saw the announcement here.
It isn't released in the U.S. yet -- but I got my own version of this Ironman-looking "RS Media" robot from the UK -- with its programmable Linux and Java brain. (Thanks, buddy, for sending it!)
It has a camera in its head that snaps whatever it sees, and projects the image onto a chest screen.
I unpacked mine this week and foresee a long summer of tinkering and hacking as it roams my patio dancing, retrieving, snooping around, driving my dog nuts!
See you all there!
