Mac Book delays?

It's Sept 21st. We ordered a pair of MacBooks and a pair of iMacs on August 30th at work. Apple initially said that the macbooks would ship on Sept 11th. Then they pushed that out over a week to Sept 21st. That's today. The shipping status on the site hasn't changed a bit.

The rumor boards indicate that apple might be refreshing the macbook line with the new intel Core 2 Duo chip. They delayed shipping us theiMacs since there was new hardware on the way - the new Core 2 Duo imacs were announced after we ordered, but we got the fancy new hardware. I hope that happens with the macbooks - it'd be nice to get fancy new hardware there too.

(Followup - apple didn't announce new macbook hardware after all, and the macbooks did finally arrive.)

Today was the party for Bea's 2nd birthday. She had lots of sugar, and got the idea into her head that she was a rock star. I think her sister may have had something to do with this...

So, wearing a cape, Bea says "Dada - I'm a rock... star!"
